Hello! My psu recently got burned, i'm planning to buy a new one. What psu should i buy? Is the psu need to be compatible with my current mobo? My mobo is Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-S1 and its old.

Solution
With plans for a 750ti, 1030, 1050, 1050ti or even a gtx1060, you'd only need a decent 450w psu. Higher power doesn't mean better quality or a better psu. Even an older model Seasonic S or M12-II 520w would be a much better quality psu than the vast majority of psus available in your market. Another good psu would be the black/silver Corsair CXM 450W, not the older green blocky letter CXM which is a modular version of the CX available to you.

Hello! My psu recently got burned, i'm planning to buy a new one. What psu should i buy? Is the psu need to be compatible with my current mobo? My mobo is Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-S1 and its old.

i asked one store they said that they got silverstone and corsair

With corsair avoid the VS series and most of the CX series(only the 450, 550 and 650w units are decent). The Vengeance, TXm, RMx, RMi, AX, AXi, HX, HXi are good.

Silverstone is alot more hit and miss they have units that are garbage and ones that a great and you can get that mix in the same series as they use many different OEMs for the same series. So you have to go by specific models.

they got corsair vs650 and silverstone et650. Since vs series is not good so i'm cross out that from my list. Maybe i will go for seasonic. Thanks for the suggestion sir.
