So I recently bought a new PSU and a New GPU to put in SLI with the other one. The GPU is a EVGA 760 and the PSU is a EVGA Super Nova 750W. When I was installing everything I noticed the PSU only has enough connectors to run one card. This is what the pins look like for the card. Do I have to have power going to both the 8pin and 6 pin? I only have an 8 pin cable to run from the PSU.

Solution
it IS SLI ready. Go through your cables you will have a 6 pin and 8 pin connectors, if they are no native 6 pin they will be 6+2 where you can detach the two from the 8pin cable to make it 6 pin.

Your conncections:
24 Pin ATX: 1x
EPS (CPU): 2x 8pin (4+4)
PCIE: 3x 8pin (6+2)
SATA: 9x
Four-Pin Peripheral: 5x
Floppy: 1x

Those 2x 8 pins are (6+2) so you just take the two off from the end and voila~! a 6 pin connector.

Oh there are only 3 of them I see. Looks like you might need to return it. If you can go for a PSU that has a single 12v rail on it.

Yes you need both plugged in. It looks like your PSU has connectors for 6+2 pin power so you take off the two pin and you'll have a 6 pin connector you can use. You should have plenty of power for your build with that PSU
