I have a Cooler Master Real Power Pro 650W PSU, http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=2730, and I would like to know if I can run two 9800GT's in SLI. The cards are OEM from two HP desktops (got them for free, AND they work! )
I'm no expert by any means, but I'm not completely green either. The problem I am having is figuring out how many amps I'm gonna need on the 12v rails to run two of these cards. I've heard you need as much as 26 amps just for one card. The sticker on the side of my PSU says it has three 12v rails at 19 amps a piece. I keep getting conflicting opinions on whether or not I can run these cards with my PSU. I always find the best info at Tom's, so I'm here for the final word on the issue, lol. I guess if I cant run them both, how about one? It would still be an upgrade from my 9600 GSO. TYVM!!!
