PSU has no molex

Hi,

I purchased a new videocard today and it came with 2 Power Splitters (4pin to 6pin), and now I need to hook up the 4pins (molex I believe) to my PSU. problem is that my psu doesnt have any molex connectors. What to do?

Preferably your PSU should have 2x6pin connections on it and not use the Molexs at all. The molex convertors aren't the best.

What video card and what psu do you have. You may need a psu if it can't supply the power the gpu needs.

The videocard I bought is the sapphire R9 270x Dual-x, and the psu is OCZ600MXSP.

Your PSU should have modular cable that include the PCIe power needed.

The PC wasnt customly built, so they didint include cables such as that one that wasnt required.. (I think)

Then you will need a new PSU as those extra cables should have come with the PSU when it was bought, and included in the system when you bought it.

Isn't there a way to buy cables? Such as this one?
I do have a spot for a sata cable, and my old graphics card currently uses the 8-pin to 6+2-pin. Wouldn't those two in combination do the job?
