Hey guys. So my im about to put my parts on order. But I want a quick check on head room for upgrades.

I'm as of now getting a 650w psu thats 80+ gold

I plan on upgrading to and i7 and a gtx 980 eventually. would 650w be good for that or should I go up a step higher to 750?

Right now im looking at the corsair csm 650. I wanted to make sure pc part picker says 360ish w total under load but yeah wanted to check 😛

And tbh I think im actually just gonna go ahead and get the i7 and get the gtx in a few months when I get the money

I know the old don't skimp on the psu but I can't go over 1,050 at the most for the base buy price right now

Ok so how about this one then? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151095&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

I use a Blu-ray / DVD burner drive to burn audio CDs and video DVDs, install games from physical copies, and watch movies.😛

The ASRock Z97M Pro4 is a better motherboard. At least get that one if you're not doing any heavy overclocking.
