PSU help- is this PSU ok?

I have found this psu on Novatech which is one of their own brand models. I do not intend to use the full watts only, but enough to support a power hungry gpu like a r290. Novatech are sytem builder so this must be half decent if it is made by them?

and a psu with rubbish reviews on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Winpower-Plus-850w-Power-Supply/dp/B004P9UDA4

Is it still ok?

If it's full load amperage is really only 36 amps, then you're looking at a really junky 500W supply in reality. I wouldn't use a fire hazard like that to power anything I cared about

It's a cheap generic unit they have just slapped their label on. Here's some better options that can power a system with a 290.
