PSU help?

I need to know of this seasonic will power my system.

Specs: 4x4 gb ddr3 1600mhz ripjaw ram
Amd fx-8350
Corsair h-100 water cooling system
2x Gtx 550 ti SLI (I only have one right now)
1x 140mm fan
1x 120mm fan
1x 120mm case fan
Asrock 970 extreme3 mobo

Will this PSU be good enough for my setup? Right now my 530w raidmax is handling this, but I'm looking to buy another
Gtx 550 ti, so I can sli them. Would this be good enough?

Should be yes, there just wont be a ton of headroom for overclocking.

Use this if your not sure it will tell you how many watts the system requires from the Psu.
Psu power calculator, just fill the list in of all the hardware you have, then it will do the calculation for you.

I've used that before, but it says it requires less than 600w at max load, could that be correct? I've asked on TH before, but everyone said that its incorrect, and that I needed a seasonic 600w or corsair.

From what I am reading one 550 ti graphics card requires 116 w to run, and needs 24 a on the +12v rails., so in Sli that would be 232 w with 48a to drive two cards. The Psu has two 12v power rails +12V1@24A, +12V2@24A.
You may have to go a bit higher on the Psu because you will also need more amps for the rest of the system. It will be fine with one 550 ti card in the system, but as soon as you add the extra card in you may be in trouble. so I would go higher than a 620w power supply making sure there are more than 48a on the 12v power rails.

How you're gonna SLI two 550ti with a mobo that doesn't support SLI...
That psu(which is a good quality one) is plenty for the specs you have, just get a good card, that psu can do for a 660/670 gtx 7870/7950 AMD.

I've already done research on this. It can do sli, it's just not officially supported, because it would be running one card @16 and one @4 speeds.

116 watts may or may not be the card's TDP, didn't check, but that's just under 10 amps
24a would be the reccomendation for a SYSTEM with the card, don't have to double the amps reccomendation to add a second card
