PSU Help!!!

I just purchased a Graphics card and want to know if my PSU can handle it. The card I just bought is a EVEGA Geforce GTX 560 Ti 2gb Superclocked. Please respond quickly.... I want to hook this up. Thanks

My system is:

PCU: i7-2600

MB: Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3 mATX

Memory: 16gb 1600

PS: 520w antec Hich current gamer

Two HDD: 1.5tb 7200rpm

DVD Rom

The GTX 560ti requires a 500w PSU with 32A on the 12V rails and (2) 6-pin PCIe power connectors. The Antec HCG is sufficient for your build; it can provide 40a on the 12V rails and has sufficient power connectors.

For a system using a single GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater power supply that has a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 30 Amps or greater and that has at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

For a system using two GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics cards in 2-way SLI mode NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 700 Watt or greater power supply that has a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 52 Amps or greater and that has at least four 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Total Continuous Amperage Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most important factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) will require an additional increase to the combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the increase in power required for the overclock. The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock you are trying to achieve.

The Antec High Current Gamer Series 520W (HCG-520), with its combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 40 Amps and with two (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors, is more than sufficient to power your system configuration with a single GeForce GTX 560 Ti. It is insufficient to power your system configuration with two GeForce GTX 560 Ti in 2-way SLI mode.

Yes Rugger is right! Go ahead and complete your build. Just make sure that the connectors are well mated, and that you wear an anti-static wrist band when doing this.
