El Crumpet Good morning. I would encourage you to revise your build to get the most gaming performance for your money. A core i3-12100F has slightly faster multicore performance, and significantly faster single core. Matter-of-fact, if you downgraded your Z490 motherboard to a B660, you could use the saved funds to upgrade to an Intel core i5-12400F for less than a $50 upgrade cost.

Intel core i3 -12100: 1658 / 8443 (cinebench R23 single / multi)

Intel core i5-10400: 1120 / 8164 (cinebench R23 single / multi)

Intel core i5-12400 1623/ 12454 (cinebench R23 single / multi)

FYI: The Crucial P2 initially shipped with TLC NAND but has since been downgraded to QLC NAND and a small SLC cache. I'd recommend a higher tier model, such as a Samsung 970 Evo Plus.

Addendum: I now see that the Z490 board that you selected is only $140, which I'm sure is very temping, and therefore upgrading to a B660 wouldn't save you any funds. Regardless, I still think that you should strongly consider the upgrade that I propose. Conventional wisdom would suggest the MSI PRO B660M-A WiFi DDR4 ($150), but I believe the MSI MAG B660M Mortar WiFi DDR4 ($160) is a shrewder purchase for only $10 more.
