i have a question regarding the psu on my first build. i have a used rosewill hive 650w being offered to me for 30. the total wattage on my build is 420w. should i go with the hive for 30, or spend the extra 10, and go an evga 500w. thanks! here's my build if you have any suggestions. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/frR3Vn

the hive defeintely ,even though its great psu ultiamtely the extra 12v ampage will be beneficial.

Your build ?? have you purchased components yet becasue you can do far far better ,the c7 isnt really good enough for an 8320 imo, neither is the board really a good match.
youre going with a full atx case & a cutdown older 760g matx chipset board which makes little sense to me personally.

Hey, thank you for the response, I've purchased everything except for the cpu, cooler, and psu. What in particular is wrong with the board? Do I absolutely need a different one? I'm sorry, this is my first build. Lol.

Also, I don't plan on overclocking.

Its a 4 phase board & an older chipset , for not much more you could have got a fully fledged 970 board with sata 3 rather than sata 2.

It has no issues running a 8320 as long as you're not overclocking , but props to you for looking at a blower style cooler because its the best option.

However the Pallas is a far better cooler for less money & is what I would use personally (because I use one myself)
