PSU ideas for SLI 660s and 8350

Hi, I just bought another 660 to SLI, and am currently using the XFX core pro 550w power supply that I already had. I'm guessing I need a new one, probably a 650 or a 750w. What are some decent/value for money PSUs at those wattages? Is the XFX core pro 750w any good? Also a couple of asides:
Should I get a modular, and are the stories about them being less efficient true?
What are the dangers involved in having an underpowered PSU?

8 gb corsair Vengeance RAM
Gigabyte GTX 660 overclock edition x2 SLI

I am saying that the XFX Pro Series Core Edition 550W (P1-550S-XXB9) has way more than enough capacity to power your intended system configuration with ample spare capacity to handle further overclocking of the CPU and GPUs.

Thanks for the comprehensive responses, but I have a couple of questions: are you saying my 550w is fine for SLI 660s? Does the the info take into account the cpu etc, and does it account for the factory overclock? (I'm using the 660s with the 550w right now, and have been for a week. if this is a bad thing I'd like to know).
