Hello folkes,
Hoping someone can help me out here. I recently upgraded to a 980 SLI configuration. To my knowledge and AMD 8350 (my current CPU) shouldn't bottleneck a system like mine to much. However, in GTA 5 ive been getting often 40 fps at max settings at 1080p. In Far Cry 4 people with similar setups have been getting over 60fps on ultra yet mine is in the mid 50's. I have a Corsair CX 750M. I know these arnt to reliable and ive had it for almost 2 years now. Is it possible that its causing bad performance, or is this a CPU issues?
Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Joe

Its a CPU issue especially if you're running stock clocks on the 8350.

A 970 or 980 sli config is wasted on anything less than a highly (20-25%) over clocked i5/i7
Unless you're running at 4k.

You serioudly wasted you're money if you're running at 1080p mate!

The goal was eventually to upgrade to 4k when I had the money for a monitor. I checked several forum posts and all of them seemed to indicate an 8350 wouldnt cause to many issues at 1080p until I could afford 4k :/ So is it really the 8350 thats the issue? If so thats a real shame :/
