Ok ive had this build for a year now but i was talking to a friend and i wanted some clarification. Im running
Asrock h97 pro4 mobo
Intel i5 4460 cpu
Sapphire tri-x r9 290 gpu
Corsair cx600m 80+bronze psu
1ssd
1hdd
4 fans

Should i be concerned about my psu? As in is it enough. Ive read places that people are running this with a 550w

Openions? Facts? Help!

Without looking up any actual wattage numbers, I'd guess that you're more than fine with the current setup. Especially given that you've been running it for a year without issue. Pcpartpicker will give you a wattage estimate, and I'd be surprised if you were over 500W. Unless you plan on doing some major expansions with a second video card, you're probably fine.

Thanks for the reassurance, no my system seems to fun pretty fine. no upgrades just debating on putting 2 stick of 8g rather than a single stick of 8gb would that make a difference?

I run GTA V on ultra @ 55-65 fps so i think im ok
League i get sometime 360 fps
Csgo 175-297 at times
Bioshock everything on high constant 60

Wattage should not be looked at when it comes to power supplies; labelled wattage is a meaningless value. Voltage regulation is what is important. The only wattage numbers one should be looking are the protection circuitry trigger points, such as for over-power protection, and knowing how well the internal components handle different amounts of power (which pro reviewers do for you). But computer power supplies don't run out of power.

One stick of ram isn't going to make enough of a difference to worry about it.
