Dear users,
I am currently experiencing an issue with my PSU/GPU that involves my computer crashing at random moments during gaming, and there is no indication of what type of crash it is. More however, the computer simply shuts off and turns back on again within a moments notice, no popups, no error codes, no signs telling me what the issue is. While this is quite arbitrary, I have pin-pointed the general things that are causing the issue which seems to be my EVGA PSU, this was determined by me when I ran my GPU tester (Furmark) and the computer crashed immediately on starting the test.
Here is where things get interesting, and strange... I never experienced this issue the first week of using the GPU, I had no errors or problems everything simply ran the way it was supposed to. Additionally, I can play Arma 3 and other graphically intensive games on max or close to max settings for hours before experienced any issues (In my example I played Arma 3 for 5 hours, then switch to a game like CSGO and had a crash there after a game of play), like I said before, random. I would like to state again, the only thing I know for sure is that my computer insta-reboots when running my GPU testers, and it will insta-reboot randomly when playing games.
Here are my specs, and thank you:
GPU: AMD Radeon r9 390
CPU: Intel i5 4790k
Mother board: MSI Z97 Gaming 3
PSU: EVGA superNOVA NEX750b
