PSU Issues

Whats the best way to tell if a Psu is dying out ? i have an Ultra x3 1000w and for a certian game it reboots on a creation of character screen not sure if thats bad client related or if my PSU ram or another part of my pc has to do with it.

whats you system specs so we can better help you
what makes you think its your PSU its more likely a software/heat issue if it was your psu it would prob reboot more or not boot at all.

a PSU problem can cause all sorts of issues, but normally under load. If it reboots in the same place under a specific game, it sounds like a problem with that specific game. Have you tried reinstalling?

i have tried reinstalling it but it seems to only wanna do it with what seems to be higher required graphic games.

as for my system i have a X58i XFX motherboard with a 2.66Ghz Intel i7 Vista Ultimate 32-bit 4Gb DDr3 2 500GB HDD GTX 260 216 Superclocked 896 GDDr3 and an Ultra x3 1000w ATX PSU along with an aftermarket cooler a Coolmaster Hyper 212 Plus.

are you useing the latest drivers for your hardware?

got it fixed finally all it was , was cord managment issues choking the psu causing it to overheat
