[SOLVED] PSU life expectancy?

My PC PSU is an XFX 850w XTS Gold Fully Modular Power Supply Unit that I bought in 2015. I am updating my desktop and wondered if it was OK to carry on using it. My new build requires a 400watt minimum

Hey there,

Well a good PSU (which yours is) typically come with 7-10 year warranties. As long as you haven't had any issues with it, it's most certainly suitable for an updated desktop. No worries there.
