Okay, I got this motherboard for free http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/G31DE/ , so I figured I would pop in some old components for the heck of it and make a Ubuntu Box (have an extra case I want to use too). Got my Pentium e2180, 3GB DDR2, 250GB HD, and DVD mounted. Go to start hooking up the cables and the main 24-pin cable power cable won't go in either way, WTF? I try several different PSUs I have laying around and none fit. I compare it to my other computers and this 24-pin pattern looks backwards or something. Do they make motherboards with a different pattern? I thought they all used the same 20-pin or 24-pin pattern if they are classified as ATX? Anyone know if there is an adapter or something, this is very frustrating, I don't NEED the computer but it's still ticking me off...
Thanks.

LOL at myself, I got it in, I still appreciate the replies guys. The PSU I was trying to use had a separate 4 pin connect on the wrong side. Some of the other old 20-pin PSUs I tried just to see if they fit, I tried plugging in too far down. Man I feel silly, thanks again for the replies though... I guess that's what I get for building a computer past midnight where I'm at...
