psu make noises

i recently bought the evga g2 750w power supply at the start it ditten make any noise at all. Now when am on my desktop or surfing the internet i can hear the fans loudly. The strange thing is that when am playing games it almost says nothing.
for my gpu i have a gtx 970

That doesn't make sense. Airflow is only relevant to fan speed, and of course higher fan speed is going to increase the sound pressure level, but you're indicating that the PSU is loud at idle, but is not loud during gaming which is when the system should be at peak demand and load, and should be louder than any other time. The two are directly relational and in reverse from normal behavior unless something here is being confused or misinterpreted.

There is no way your power supply should be louder from fan noise at idle than it is under load. Now, if it's not fan noise, but coil whine you're hearing, that's a different story.

asked someone about this question and he said that it could be my air flow causing the issue
