Hello, I'm having bad luck with PSU's lately. I have an old custom build without a PSU. I tried using an HP one but it has an issue when it isn't used with an HP mobo that makes the fans run 100%.
Anyways, I have a Lite-On PSU and it makes this electrical buzzing noise almost like interference. It didn't make this noise on my old Dell Dimension, at least I couldn't hear it, and whenever I move my mouse or type on the keyboard it changes how the buzzing sounds. It's definitely the PSU because I unplugged all the fans and booted for a couple seconds and heard it. It doesn't start buzzing until it begins to read from the Hard Drive or any form of media. I tried using a different surge protector, using directly to the wall, and using a different cable. I even booted with only the bare minimum needed to boot. No HDD, USB devices, or display. Please help, anything is appreciated.
