[SOLVED] psu making lot of noise

Hi,

My gave my brother my i7-6700 because of an upgrade. His VS450W psu from corsair is making a loud bromming noise. Is it because he has too low wattage?
His specs: i7-6700
gtx 1060
16Gb ram
Msi mortar b250m
gaming mouse and keyboard

I have and Silence performance C 600W in my old case. if the wattage is the problem, would we be able to fix it if we replace that corsair with my old silence?

Better off replacing it, you got the spare one anyway, the VS series are crap and need to be stayed away from

If it is making noise, replace it asap. If a PSU goes out, it could take the system with it.
