[SOLVED] Psu making noise

Hey guys so a few days ago my order PSU burnt so I bought a new one(corsair cx650f) but it’s making this weird crackling noise is it supposed to be like this or should I return it

Don't believe I have had a power supply that does that. Probably should return it.

You must have bat ears to hear that.

Sounds either like some coil whine or something switching. Don't think it's harmfull. What other parts do you use with it, like cpu/gpu.

Maybe @jonnyguru can be more specific about this sound. Sound setting in that link is just halfway so can be upped.

You sure the AC plug is plugged all the way in?

(BTW: I turned your video all the way up and couldn't hear a thing)

I don't hear anything either. Is this a high-frequency sound? I'm 43 now and my ears can't go above 15 kHz or so.

When putting pc at 100% and his vid is there a faint sound like a continuous clicking, almost chirping. Like i said he has bat ears. It's a very short vid so it repeats constantly. Headphones help as well.
