So my seasonic 80 plus gold 650w just made a loud crack and tripped all the electrics in my house. Tried turning it back on and the same thing happened this time a little smoke came out. Psu is <Mod Edit> no doubt but what about every thing else?

Can't test any thing as I don't have a spare psu
Psu was less than 12 months old took everything in my pc apart it all looks fine seems to have been isolated to the psu.
This was the psu https://www.amazon.co.uk/Seasonic-SSR-650FX-FOCUS-Power-Supply/dp/B073H33X7R

That PSU has a good warranty. Send it back for a replacement. You could try a Paper Clip Test with the PSU outside the computer but it sounds like it's failed drastically.

To be honest, it sounds like a capacitor blew, and that might be stuck across the mains somewhere. Can you take a picture of the PSU? Any burn marks on the board or loose things rattling around inside the PSU now?
