[SOLVED] PSU/MOBO compatability

I have a Coolermaster MWE gold 550w PSU and want to buy a MSI b450 gaming pro carbon max wifi motherboard but Pcpartpicker says that
"The MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON MAX WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard has an additional 4-pin ATX power connector but the Cooler Master MWE Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply does not. This connector is used to supply additional 12V current to the motherboard. While the system will likely still run without it, higher current demands such as extreme overclocking or large video card current draws may require it."
Will it still work for my PC? or will I need a different motherboard?

It will work seamlessly. You only need the 8-pin for the setup to work, but for extreme overclocking the auxiliary 4-pin divides the load for both cables.
