PSU needed for an old M2N32 SLI deluxe

My girlfriends PC has a 600 watt PSU on it. With the below specs, is that enough to run two 470 in SLI? I've purchased new cards and have an extra 470 to put in hers. Thanks.

Mobo: M2N32 SLI deluxe
CPU: Amd Athlon 64 x2 6000+ Dual Core
Ram: 6 gb pc 6400 ddr2/800 Dual CHannel Corsair xms 2
HDD:2 x 300 gb sata 2 3.0 gb/s 7200 RPM in Raid 0
Sound: Xfi-Platinum 24 bit
Only one dvd drive

It depends which 600w psu you have.if it is from good brands like corsair,antec,seasonic then it is fine.

It's an Aspire 600w Dark Side Power ATX.

One chart lists 750 watts as needed, but the chart is new and doesn't mention the cpu's used, or mobo's, etc., so I assume they are calculating for quad core cpus and up. The setup in question is using older, and perhaps less watt hungry parts. Is this why a 600 watt may be ok?

I'm going to say you can't. First, Aspire isn't very good. Second, the GTX470 needs two PCIe power plugs. Two in SLI mean you need four. It's hard to find a 650W unit that has that many, impossible (?) for a 600W. I''d upgrade to a bigger PSU.

Speaking of upgrading, I wouldn't run a slow dual core with two 470s. CPU bottleneck for most games I'd bet.

Ok, thanks. I'll just keep hers as a single card setup. Speaking of bottlenecking, how much of a bottleneck would an i7 950 cpu be w/2x gtx660's in SLi? I OC the cpu to 3.20, 3.45, and 3.65 ghz.

I wouldn't think there would be any. Maybe a touch at the slower speeds, but a 950 should be good with just about any combo out there.
