[SOLVED] PSU not supplying GPU with enough power?

Hi,

I have sapphire nitro+ rx580 overclcoked to 1480mhz.

The thing is that as per the reviews that card can eat upto 270watts, my card is only consuming upto 190 watts at full load in game and UNIGINE benchmark.

Also when comparing benchmarks between original clocks 1430 with the overclcoked clcoked 1480 + additional power and voltage there is not difference whatsoever.

Does this mean that my psu is not supplying the cards with enough power?

My power supply is thermaltake SE Smart 730w, powering the gpu with two pcie cables separately and using bitfenix 2.0 Alchemy cable extension.

I have 16GB ram and i7 4790
Thanks

Solution
nah, 50 mhz is not much overclocking
If PSU is not enough to provide GPU power, it will shutdown.
Did you plug in 1 or 2 pcie cables to the gpu? You will need 2 to draw more power.
