I have a great computer and it uses a AX1200i PSU. I used until midnight one day. I woke up and it was not turning on anymore! I tried to unplug all USB cables but it didn't work.

Then I found out that the self test function on the PSU worked when it was unplugged from the PC. I started to test all of my cables and surprisingly, when i connected my 24-pin cable in it, it just didn't worked and the 24-pin connector wasn't even connected to my motherboard!

As some of you may already know, 24-pin connector in this PSU comes separated. If I connect 1 half in it, the self-test works. But if I put the 2 halves together it doesn't work...... (and it wasn't connected to the motherboard yet).....

Please HELP ME!

I would be really happy......

Guys, actually, with my dad's help, I could finally solve the problem. It was a problem with the CMOS battery (that little one thas is like a coin). Looks like there was a built-in protection to prevent me from loosing my BIOS setup...... I just had to change the battery and it worked!

Now I'm happy 😉
