I recently got a gigabyte r9 380. It started to make a buzzing and whining noise. It doesn't really bother me if I know that it isn't hurting it.

When going into further research I realized it may be my PSU. I have a cx600.

Is this my GPU or PSU and will my GPU/PSU be okay?

Sounds like coil whine to me. Google it. Most agree it is not a problem but may indicate sub-par components. Only you can say if it is your PSU or GPU. Open the case and stick your ear near the components.

Not A Good Sign At All
It's not the graphics card it has to be the power supply . That thing is going to stop or explode any minute now . If you can I would definetly try to test with a different system or test the gpu on a different system

I don't have any other systems. Isn't coil whine a normal thing?

Return shipping will be at the discretion of seller. As I said earlier, some people say it is no harm, others say it indicates low quality parts that may have a shortened life span, and as you saw from Mac070's comment, there are those that say it indicates failure is imminent. The question is are you willing to take the chance?
