[SOLVED] PSU performance problem (?)

I've been using an AeroCool KCAS 800W PSU for three years and I think that at the moment my PC's performance has decreased a lot, in a way that games such as BTF1, Battlefront 2 or GTA5 are unplayable.
Some days ago a friend of mine noticed that it was making some weird noises (the PSU) and then we both thought that it probably wasn't working as it should. Do I need to change my PSU?
My specs are:
-EVGA GTX 970 sc
-Intel I5 6400 2,7Ghz-3,3Ghz
-2x 4 GB Ram ddr4
-2 SSD
-1 HDD
-Win 10 Pro

P.d: I've got the latest updates and drivers and I made a clean install of Win 10.

Considering it's a poor power supply in terms of quality , I'd start by replacing it.
