[SOLVED] PSU Pin to GPU Question

Hi,

I have a GB RTX 3070 Gaming OC GPU and a Corsair RMx 850 PSU.

As seen in the picture, I am using an 8 pin to 2 x (6+2) to power the 8 and 6 pin connection on the GPU. Can I do this? Or will this create problems? Will I need to plug in two 8 pins from my PSU to supply this?

Your best bet is going to be running two PCIe cables from the PSU. You dont want to risk any issues with power draw, especially if you already have the cables, and it wont take much effort to add the second one.
