So yesterday my PSU (Rosewill 550W Capstone 80+ Gold) blew and thus I ordered an EVGA Supernova G2 750w since I read that these are one of the best on the market. Anyways, I checked my mobo and didn't see any capacitors damaged. Is there a good chance that other components were not damaged since it looks like the mobo was not?

The Rosewill Capstone is a very good PSU wth safegaurs in it; doesnt mean it is immune to those safegaurds failing, but you at least have a better chance then say someone with an Apevia or other absolute junk PSU.

Now to put a percent on it, I could say 10% and 90% and they both would be an equal amount of a guess.
yea its hard to tell. i had a computer years ago where the PSU popped and smoke came out of it and everything turned out fine after replacing it. but the PSU is connected to other parts like if you have a dedicated GPU and disk drives. it may have put a power surge through anything the PSU was connected to
