[SOLVED] Psu power cable to hdd

Wondering what cable i need to buy for the power to the hdd im planing to buy

Currently planning to buy a seagate barracuda 2tb (st2000dm006)

My psu - cx550M
I have 2 - 6pin "peripheral and sata" connections open. Do i then need a 6pin power cable to sata into the hdd?

Yes. The psu comes with the correct cable. One has 2 sata power connectors and other has 3 (or 4).

Dont try to use cables from a different psu.
