PSU powerful enough for GTX 960 G1?

Im looking to upgrade to the GTX 960 G1 card but i was wondering if my PSU will be powerful enough its the ATRIX AX-500EXB, its a really basic and cheap PSU

On label this PSU have 12V 18A = 216W max * and this PSU is also very weak quality.
Better buy better PSU
Choose one from tier 1,2 or even 3 with min 450W - 500W

your PSU is a tier 5 unit, which means its a TERRIBLE unit. replace it with something better,which is at least a tier 3 unit, but really tier 2 units are the best.

anything with a good tier and that it has around 430w-500w would be good.

Short answer, no. GTX 960 G1 Gaming GTX 960 needs 20 amps on the 12v+ rail and a 450 watt power supply with two 6-pin PCIE power conection.

What about the normal GTX 960 and not the G1 one? or is there going to be no difference

Your curent PSU is simply junk quality:

This linked by me is Tier 2 and this EVGA is tier 3 but both will be sufficient for your GPU.

But if you want spend £48 on PSU better take this
