Hey guys!

First of all I want to say that I built my pc about 3 months ago, during Christmas. Everything was fine (besides the fact that my 970 was coilwhining) but now something odd started to happen. My psu is making a really bad electrical noise..sort of buzzing. I do not know and I also do not think it is coil whine as it is more electrical and it si concerninc me. It started yesterday all of a sudden..then today in the morning it was gone..and now it is back again. I can hear it from my seat and if I stay close to it it gets even worse and is freakin me out even more because I can hear the electricity changing in intensity witch seems really weird. The PSU is an Antec VP700P. It's funny cuz on the box it actually says "Be Quiet" or something like that.

What should I do about it? I still have the warranty..can I send it to the shop? I really do not want it to fry and also get my other components..

Best regards!

You should RMA it , it won't go away and could get worse.

Also..Blackbird..I do not know if they will let me RMA it...cuz it's over the 30 days allocated for that..but I can send it in for warranty..what do you think?

I hope they won't tell me "it's coil whine..we can't do anything about it, get it back"..it is clearly not...you can clearly hear the electricity.

I will call them tomorrow..I will update the post telling you what they said.

(BTW holyrage..In a seccond I will try to connect it directly to the outlet and let you know what happend)
