psu question on r9 295x2

Hi im thinking of buying an r9 295x2 but it requires a lot of wattage and I have a 550 watt power supply. I also have a 600 watt psu in storage and I was wondering if I could use this product called add2psu to combine the psu's.

The 600 watt psu I have in storage is a corsair cx600.

Would it be safe to combine the psu's and would it be enough power?

Also does my mobo support the dual gpu? It doesnt allow sli or crossfire

You need to bite the bullet and get a 1000W power supply.
