psu question with red dragon v2 rx580

hey i just bought a new system and i didnt realize that my psu might not be enough watt in will a 650w be enough for a red dragon v2 rx580 and amd ryzen 3 1300x?

yes, i ran rx580 and a oc 1600 on a entry level evga 500b, for 1 yr with no issue.

as long as the 650w is not a cheaply made generic brand, it's fine.

Nvidia and AMD generally overstate the required power, because the have to try and account for the person with the overclocked top end processor and 4 HDDs, or other sorts of semi-overkill setups.

That video card is I think rated at 185W TDP, so your power supply should be more than adequate.

What is the brand andd model of the PSU. 650 is more than enough for an RX 580 (even 500w) but if its junk I wouldn't use it.
