PSU Question

This may be a stupid question, but I would feel even more dumb if I bought it and was wrong....I am looking at buying a thermaltake purepower 480. I am running an AMD 64 3200+. I looked at the powersupply and said that it was compatable with the P4 and AMD K7. Can I even use that powersupply?
