[SOLVED] PSU question

I recently got a game max psu that is fully modular to replace my overclockes potato of a power supply for my new gpu the only small problem is that my gpu needs 1 8pin and 1 6pin power connector... this psu only has 4 8pin pci-e connectors, it does have a few 6 pin sata connectors. I don’t know what to do so help would be appreciated. Also can i get a 6 to 8pin connector.

For 8pin PCIe connectors to gpu's, they're actually 6+2. The +2 is like a little dongle of sorts:
-for 6pin connections, you just leave it hanging.
-for 8pin connections, you combine it with the 6pin its attached to and plug it in.

No PSU manufacturer would shoot them selves in the foot supplying only straight 8pin PCIe plugs as there are many use cases for 6pins.
