Please keep it to 1 thread.
My system
MSI MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK DDR4 MB
Intel i7 - 12700k processor
Corsair Vengeance 64GB
970 EVO Plus
MSI GeForce RTX 3080 GAMING Z TRIO 12GB LHR Graphics Card

I'll probably add a 1TB SSD and 6TB Hybrid Drive (Ironwolf)

What size of PSU should I be using for this setup? I purchased an Corsair RMx Series (2021), RM850x, 850 Watt, GOLD but I fear that may not be enough.

Any insight would be awesome. Oh and I might get the 10G MSI graphics card instead which uses 30 less watts. I'm not sure as the price difference between the two is just $50 dollars. For $50 it would make sense to get the 12G version.

I would see how things go with your current PSU purchase but with the way the GPU is behaving(read transient spikes) it's a good idea to have a higher wattage unit...whereby you'll see people with reliably built 1KW units have a better time with , say, a 750~850W unit.
