I have a pc that ive been making over the last few weeks and the psu I got hasn't got 2x6pin connecters for the graphics card.
This is what I got so far;
gtx770
AMD FX-6300 6-Core FX Series
MSI 970A-G46 AMD MOBO
then I got a ACE 700W psu

Will it be ok to use a 6pin to 2x6pin adapter for the graphics card?

^what he said. I would add that you can connect the adapter, thats not the problem. The problem is you have a crap PSU, that thing doesn't deliver 700w. Get a new one asap, i can't even express how crap it is. 700w at 17 GBP ???? yeah right
