Hello, I'm running a Dell Inspiron 3847 I was wondering, could any one tell me my psu wattage from this information? All my things in my pc currently is default from the start, I have not upgraded anything yet. I tried looking into my pc and seems like my psu is covered in a case is it safe to unbox the case to tell me wattage or can someone help me find it?

Well since it requires 300 watts, and what you have is a 300 watt power supply, and it does not require a pci-e 6 or 8 pin I would say yes. As long as your motherboard has a pci-e 16x slot. Though you might want to think about getting another power supply since it is going to be right on the edge of what works.

I would but do you have any knowledge of installing this on my type of computer?

Many years ago I had an Inspiron with a q6600 quad core. I had just moved to Las Vegas and needed something fast. I added a GeForce 9800 to it so I guess you could say that is experience. Side note: I really loved the q6600. Made 4 different builds with it. Highest overclock on it was 3.5ghz. It was a Golden chip.

Thanks man for helping me out I appreciate it, I'm really trying to upgrade my Pc to good graphics on a 60 FPS scale, I'm trying to find the best bang for my buck but also have experience.
