PSU releasing noxious fumes

I just finished to build my computer and noticed that everytime I turn it on... it starts to release noxious fumes.

I traced the fumes to the power supply. It is not a cheap one...is a Fortron FSP 350 Watts Aurora. I have another one like that and works wonderful under heavy load.

I wonder if this is typical of power supplies and if the fumes will go away after a while...this is the third day of fumes that won't go away....

Anybody with similar experience?

This is a fairly common thing. Something got on the heatsink during manufacturing and it is burning off. It should go away fairly quickly. Make sure you run that thing in a well ventalated room though, that aint plesent stuff its givin off
