Hey guys, not too long ago my PSU died, today I got a new, stronger one, but when I turn the PC on, only the fans are going full power and motherboard's numbers don't seem to be working. The motherboard is DX79 TO. Monitor doesn't get any signals from the PC. I feel kinda hopeless at this point, can somebody help me with this?

How can you know that the old psu didnt take any components with it when it died?

What is the new power supply model?

Are you sure you plugged in the required power connectors to get a system to boot (24pin, 4/8pin cpu power).

You can start troubleshooting by removing everything
- remove all but one stick of ram
- disconnect all hard drives and dvd drives
- remove dedicated graphics card (use integrated graphics)
- remove anything else that is not required for a minimal bootup.

If it boots with everything removed, add things back one by one and see what causes it to fail.

There is a chance that the old PSU destroyed something in your system.
