PSU Replacement for HD 7870 2GB and further

Hello,

I was given free from a friend a used Sapphire HD 7870 2GB and decided to replace my Asus HD 7750. I used 2x 2 molex to 6pin to power the card up. It booted to desktop, I managed to browse the web, but when I launch a game the PC freezes completely or reboots.

I have some crappy 450W PSU that I don't know even it's brand. CPU is i3-4370 and the rest of the components: the mentioned HD 7750, 2x4GB Kingston DDR3 1600MHz, Samsung EVO850 SSD, Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDD. I also use Dell monitor with USB hub. USB ports are mostly used for charging phones and so on.

So I tried it on another PC with better PSU Cooler Master 600W and it ran fine. So now I want to pick a budget PSU that is capable of powering up the HD 7870 and potentially a future upgrade for that card next year.

So local stores have this PSU for $65:

i run 7700k and 1080ti in 650w

a quality 550w can handle your i3 and a more powerful gpu , but if you want more power :

No, there are no downgrades but I would take the PSU with 550W-700W with the longer the better warranty.

Thanks for the tips. Those are really great for the price, but I am located in Europe and shipping costs a lot. I also cannot find them in the web stores around.

Rosewill are nowhere to be found.
I found two Seasonic:
about $80 - Seasonic SS-620GB S12II-620 , 620W, 80 Plus Bronze
about $60 - Seasonic SS-520GB S12II-520Bronze, 520W

After that I checked the tier list and noticed the CM MasterWatt in tier 1. So I can get this one

for about $60.

The Seasonic are rated tier 4 but are more expensive than the CM rated tier 1. I'm a bit confused. Should I take the CM MasterWatt?

Since there were no further clarifications I got to the tier list provided by M04D18 and decided to get the 'BE QUIET! PURE POWER 10-CM 500W BN277'.
