I have a corsair CX 750 because I'm stupid and didn't really research what PSU to buy. I know there are tables that show the tiers different PSUs are in but there would be a lot of cross referencing prices/ reviews etc. and I just want to replace my PSU asap. Off the top of your head, could you recommend a budget, safe, modular PSU to support a 980ti and i7 4790k running at factory speeds?

Don't skimp on quality with your nice components.

OP asks for a 'budget, safe, modular PSU to support a 980ti and i7 4790k running at factory speeds?'
The Super Flower made 750 B2 is exactly that. At $48.99 after rebate it's a steal.
