PSU replacement suggestions needed

My PSU an Allied Al - d500exp just died and I need a suggestion of a good PSU to replace this known cheap and crappy POS from a company with a bad reputation. Im not well versed in this area as to if different models have different connectors, settings, ect. So any and all help would be appreciated. My old one is 480w max 500w model number sl-8500Btx and is a switching power supply if that helps. Also her are my pc specs

Intel i7-7700 3.60Ghz, NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB HDD, 120GB SSD, Win 10

Since that's not an overclocking build, a corsair cx 2017 550w would do. Even the 450w is enough to get the job done.

Yeah but the Corsair CXM series is not the highest quality, it's decent though.

That's the new cx series. It's not group regulated, it uses a LLC resonant circuitry and though not all Japanese caps, the same as the cxm. All things considered, a pretty decent one and perfectly fine for the op.
