Hi, I just got a 980ti for my system but I'm a bit weary of the power requirement. I originally had a 1060 6gb so its a big jump in power consumption.

i7 4770 (nonK)
2x8gb ddr3 hyperx fury
3x120mm LED fans
240gb Hyper x fury SSD
1tb 7200 HDD
Corsair K70 led keyboard/Logitech g402 led mouse
EVGA 650G2
27"Asus PB278Q

Will my power supply be ok with this setup, probably will oc the gpu at some point. Question has been asked a lot, I have checked google the minimum required for the card is saying 600w, but ofcourse when I read forums etc some people say yes ok others say 700/800+++ PSU.

Thanks for any input in advance.

I have the psu about 2 years if that matters.

What that says has nothing to do with how big a power supply you need.
84 watt processor.

279 Watt max on the video card (this is not a realistic load but what we will use)

About 60 watts for the rest.

423 Watt PC under full load.

The 650 Watt G2 is a very good power supply and your PC under full load would use about 65% of the power it can output.

You have plenty of power to run that card.
