PSU Requirements for 7770 GHz Crossfire?

I want to know what would be a recommended PSU wattage would be for crossfiring.

Currently has:

i7-4770k
8GB DDR3 1600
WD Desktop Blue
Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1GB Ghz Edition
BenQ 1680x1050

Only has a 400w PSU, something tells me that won't be enough.

it may be enough if you have the 6 pin pci connector is it a name brand or some off brand...

Some of the cards call for Minimum 450 watt Power Supply but it could be close...

@johnnyb105 - I think the OP meant two HD 7770 cards in Crossfire.

The recommendations on this site are 430W for a system with one card and 520W for a system with two cards. You need two 6-pin PCI-E connectors, one for each card.

And then we have AMD's recommendation:

For a system using two Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition graphics cards in 2-way CrossFireX mode AMD specifies a minimum of a 600 Watt or greater power supply. The power supply should also have a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 30 Amps or greater and have at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

I am running a 750 watt power supply with dedicated headers, currently only running one 7850 card - but could add another if that is the issue?

Oh my bad I thought he meant one lol... I am running 2 7770 crossfire with a richland 6600k 2 dvd burners 3 hard drives and fans 4 of them in a rosewill case on 650 watt corsair no problems.. Hope this helps.

Yes you can. 750W is plenty.

What do you think would be a good, cheap, PSU (700+ watts) for $50 or less? Would 600 Watts be enough?

600 watts would be fine for crossfire as I said I am running 2 asus 7770 3 hard drive 1 ssd drive 2 dvd burners and 4 fans all on 650 watts.
