PSU requirements for 7870

Will my PSU be able to sustain Gigabyte 7870
I have Be Quiet 430 with one 6+2 PCI-e connector rated at 18A
So my question is:
if i use molex to 6pin adapter would it damage my GPU or rest of components if my PSU fails or everything would be OK and safe?
My spec are:
FX 6300
2x4Gb DDR3 1866 RAM
M5A78L-M LX3 MB
Samsung 120gb SSD

A Radeon HD 7870 needs 23 amps on the 12v+ rail and a 500 watt power supply with 2 PCIE power connections.

Molex is a bad idea , get a proper PSU.

I just found Sapphire 7850 2gb and i only need one PCI-e 6pin connector for it
Will my current PSU suffice until i buy new PSU?

Maybe that second +12v is that additional +2 pin?

You found a single PCIE powered card , so the PSU will run it with no need for adapters.

It's a dual rail PSU.
