Do I need to upgrade my PSU for a GTX 970? If so, how many watts and what kind of PSU do I need to power them all up? I researched and I saw that the GTX 970 uses 5 Watts more than the GTX 660 (140>145W), but it states that minimum power requirements for GTX 970 is 500W meanwhile 660 has a 450W minimum requirement.
My rig:
CPU: i7 4820K STOCK CLOCK Might perma OC to 4.5GHz soon, I'll most likely use ASUS optional mode option instead)
FAN: Stock Intel cooler with blue LED lights (Getting a H100i cooler soon for a cooler CPU)
GPU: GTX 660 (non-ti) TF edition factory OC
RAM: 4x4GB Ram Sticks ADATA DDR3 PC3-12800 = 16GB RAM
MOBO: ASUS P9X79LE
Fans: 3 stock casing fans with red LEDs
Drives: 1 SAMSUNG 850 EVO SSD 120GB + 2TB WD Black edition HDD
PSU: ATNG 600W power supply 80PLUS certified PSU (Got this in December 2013 as a new PSU from a friend's computer when he upgraded his CPU) My computer has been running since DEC 2013 very well with this PSU)
OC Notes: I had used ASUS Optimal mode once (Auto 4.5GHz OC), when I turn on the PC the computer suddenly shuts down but when I turn it on again it powers up normally with the Asus optimal mode on, I don't think this is really an issue because I had ran this computer for a month with the OC on with no power issues while gaming.)
