psu requirment for my build

I already have an i7 4790k and a gtx 960 4gb. I want to update my gpu and I have 3 cards, I can get any of them, the issue is my psu. I have an evga 80plus white 500w (I know it's trash). Can this psu run a 1070, 1070ti, or a 1080. I will be upgrading hopefully soon, please help if you can, thanks!

I'd suggest getting a 550 watt bronze or better PSU. I have that PSU and I have an i5 - 4590 with a GTX 1060 and 16GB DDR3. Get a better PSU.

Get the best hardware you can afford in this, and most departments of the PC. Corsair has some really nice ones I like

500 is GARBAGE dude. Don't attempt a 1070 anything on it. 800W or better PSU for gaming or go home for my likes.

I wouldn't suggest getting 800 watts at all. 650 watts max.

Yeah but don't use 80+ white for something *THAT* high end. Get a 550W bronze at least just to be safe.
